    REALTORS® have access to every home in the Multiple Listing Service and the cooperation of most For Sale By Owner sellers. With the help of a REALTOR® and their resources, you can look at 6-8 homes in an afternoon, usually in less than 3-4 hours. Your REALTOR® will set up the appointments, speak with the agent and pull the history of every home you have interest in.

    REPRESENTATION

    Representation is highly recommended in this ever changing and challenging market. Your REALTOR® can show you comparable properties, explain the market place, negotiate aggressively by taking the emotion out, and using statistics to back up counter-offers. REALTORS® also have access to referrals of professionals in the industry to help you along in your home-buying process, including inspectors, attorneys, and contractors.

    IT’S FREE

    The #1 misconception that most buyers have about using a REALTOR® is that it will change the sellers “bottom-line” on price. This is completely untrue. The way commission works is the seller pays THEIR REALTOR® an agreed upon commission. Then IF another REALTOR® is involved (by representing the buyer) the Seller’s agent splits their commission with the buyer’s agent. It costs the buyer nothing.
